The title of Ashutosh Gowariker’s upcoming production may have not been announced yet, but SpotboyE.com has been bringing you one by one updates on its star-cast. After we broke the news that Preity Zinta will play Paresh Rawal’s daughter-in-law in the film and that the senior actor (Rawal) will have a double role, we now have it that Manav Kaul, who was seen in the film Tumhari Sulu as Vidya Balan’s on-screen hubby will be seen playing Preity’s husband in this movie.

The actor was last seen in the film Badla, but his memorable role has to be that of a supportive husband to Vidya’s Sulu in Tumhari Sulu. With films like Kai Po Che, Haider and Jolly LLB in his repertoire, Kaul is a talented actor and it will be a fresh combination as he pairs up with the dimpled beauty. Speaking of the untitled project, the filming kick-starts by the end of this month in Mumbai. Ashutosh Gowariker will be producing the film while one of his assistants will don the director’s hat.



Knowing Gowariker’s quest to not compromise on the quality of his films, we do expect this to be mounted on a big scale. Apart from this film, Preity Zinta will possibly step into the shoes of Ranjeeta for the Satte Pe Satta remake which will be helmed by choreographer-turned-filmmaker Farah Khan. Preity was last seen in the film Bhaiaji Superhit alongside Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel.
